- 7 years experience working in large size companies as business analyst within an IT organization
- Experience in working directly with business in defining business and functional requirements associated with complex Web-based solutions integrating data from multiple sources including DB2, Oracle.
- Strong experience in business process mapping on ''as is'' and ''to be''
- Ability to interpret ERD diagrams and create high level presentation material.
- Experience in data analysis, data modeling, SQL, user interface design, use case diagrams and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in facilitating JAD or similar type sessions with business and IT staff to define requirements
- Customer focused - excels in building long-term relationships with customers.

Duties:
- Participate in business and system planning sessions (defining new integration points will operate)
- Proactively work with various business application owners to understand and document business requirements
- Create business requirements and system functional requirements documents
- Translate functional business requirements into technical specifications focusing on integrated and reusable solutions
- Assist/define project scope and prioritization of deliverables
- Assist with development plan and cost estimates
- Coordinate tasks with offshore and onshore development teams as necessary
- Participate in and/or facilitate design review sessions to seek out alternative solutions and best practices
- Generate significant new processes and functions that improve the integration of multiple activities
- Promote and develops reusable models for delivery
Required Education/Experience:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
